Inky Stamper has a new challenge for the month of June: Stamped Background. This is my take on the challenge and here is my design inspiration.

I used the Owl Stamp and the Dragonfly Stamps, inking the stamps and sentiments with Nuvo’s Hybrid Ink Pad in Soft Suede;coloring the images with Nuvo’s Watercolour Pencils in: Memorable Rose, Orange Peel, Caramel Popcorn, Summer Sky , Pale Blonde,Raven Black and Toffee Apple. I completed the background pencil stamp with Nuvo’s Glitter Marker in Urban Graphite. I distressed the sentiment flag with Nuvo’s Rich Rosewood ink around the edges and gave it a little bling by tracing the letters with Nuvo’s Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer and Rhinestone Bling by Picket Fence Studio- Fire. The die cut and ribbon are from my collection. I finished off the owl with Nuvo’s Crystal Glaze. The Owl is affixed with a wobble so he wiggles.
