This is my granddaughter’s 6th birthday card. I tried to make it fun so, I used fun stuff. Who doesn’t loves cute snails and sparkly mushrooms? Right?

I created the card from with Neenah White cardstock and Nuvo’s mini ink pad in Pistachio Green using the direct to paper inking technique to create the background. I cut a die cut image for the grass from a die that I have in my collection of retired dies, out of Doodlebug Design 6×6 paper pad-Swiss Dot. Some of the mushrooms and Snail were stamped on Neenah White with Nuvo’s Acorn Brown Ink from the Snail stamp and die set from InkyStamper, the other mushrooms were fussy cut from the doodlebug Swiss dot and Sugar and Spice scraps from another project. The Snail was Die cut from Neenah White paper and hand colored with WaterColor Pencils and Nuvo’s Glitter Markers. The sentiment was stamped on Neenah White with Nuvo’s Dried Oregano Ink and cut with a die from retired dies. The whole card was embellished with Sequins Mix- Mermaid Water and Gem mix- Day and Night from Picket Fence. I completed the look with Nuvo’s Crystal Glaze and googly eyes from my collection.
