I’ve been playing with fun techniques. Air blown Alcohol Ink. This technique makes beautiful backgrounds that may be used in many ways.

I created this Memorydex card by first Blowing alcohol ink on Yupo Translucent Paper with 91% Rubbing Alcohol. I let the Yupo paper dry over night. I tried stamping on the background with Momento’s Black Tuxedo ink and let it dry for a few hours, but it did not dry enough and the ink smeared. ☹️

I ultimately used the Yupo paper background to die cut eggs to use in my Memorydex design.

The Memorydex card was created by die cutting the cards with HeidiSwapp’s die from paper in my collection. I used cute spring colored paper and made it have texture by running through my corregator tool. I cut Easter grass in small pieces and glued them to the underside of a die cut basket and then glued to my background piece. I stamped the bunny image from a retired stamp set from FunStampersJourney with Nuvo’s Acorn Ink on Neenah white cardstock, coloring the bunny with Nuvo’s Glitter Markers. I embellished the card with sequins from my collection and stamped the sentiment with a custom multicolored stamp pad.
